Machine Learning Rabit Hole
Hello,
how has everyone been?
It has been 1 month since I wrote a post on this newsletter. I am doing well. I have been going down (or going on?) a Machine Learning rabbit hole (ML habit hole). In other words, I have been studying ML systems on my own. I find it interesting but there is so much I don’t know and so much to learn. It can be overwhelming sometimes, especially when I attach an outcome of getting more ML into it. So I try to enjoy the process yet have a goal in mind.
I have a few doctor appointments and follow-ups just to keep check on my health because I kept getting sick. Also, I found out that I do better when I work out 2 days, and take 1 day break, and go back to work out for the next 2 days. I tried to work out every other day, and I get pretty depressed when I work out less.
I just remember that I was taking an online class but I did not take the final for that class. It’s alright. I did pass no pass anyway.
Reading
I finished reading Designing Machine Learning Systems by Chip Huyen. There are a few sentences that are hard to understand due to their structure. Some probability is off too. Overall, I like the book, very useful and informative. I give it 4/5
I am reading another book about designing, building and deploying ML systems. It’s more practical and I am halfway through. I will update you when I am done.
